Sunset over Anna Maria Island: Florida: Description
My daughter took an amazing photograph of a sunset over Anna Maria Island whilst on holiday. The colours were so unusual that they inspired me to create this almost abstract painting in pastels. Using the reverse, smooth side of Canson Mi Teintes paper, I was able to achieve a picture with crisper definition than is possible with the textured surface.
