Mostar Bridge (Leap of Faith): Description
This picture portrays the old Mostar bridge and city. The suffixed title of the work (Leap of Faith) refers to the centuries-old tradition of jumping from the Old Bridge (Stari Most) into the icy waters of the River Neretva some 24 metres below. If you look closely, you will see that the real hero of the scene is the diver who is bravely entertaining the crowds.
